In 2017, as part of HPD’s M/WBE Building Opportunity RFP, Type A Real Estate Advisers was designated a 15,000 square foot site in the East Crotona neighborhood of the Bronx.  The project includes 114 rental units for senior-headed households earning up to 60% AMI and ample amenity spaces including a ground floor community room, gym, floor-by-floor social nooks, and over 7,500 square feet of landscaped outdoor space.  The Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) provides tenant support services and access to their extensive city-wide senior programs via on-site offices as well as operate a 3,500 square foot community-centric senior services center on the ground floor.
